Privacy policy
How we handle the personal information you share with us.
Ross Accounting (ABN 47 153 889 975) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information this website collects and how it is used, consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through our contact form we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, suburb, the service you are interested in and the details of your enquiry.
Our web server keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and troubleshooting. We do not use advertising cookies.
We use Google Analytics (which sets its own cookies) to understand how visitors use this website, such as which pages are viewed and whether people call or send an enquiry; you can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
How we use it
We use your details only to respond to your enquiry and to provide services you engage us for. We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties for marketing.
Storage and security
Enquiries are delivered to our business email and a copy is kept on our secure web server so that no enquiry is lost if email delivery fails. Access is restricted, and we take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.
Third-party services
Information you give us as a client (for example tax and financial records) is handled under our professional confidentiality obligations, separately from this website.
Our contact page includes an embedded Google Map, and Google Analytics is provided by Google. When they load, Google may receive information about your visit in line with Google’s privacy policy.
Access and correction
You can ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by contacting us.
